Remodel Consultation
Description:
Detailed review of current room setup in collaboration with architect and recommendations for safe design.
Includes:
Site visit and functional review
Measurements and layout feedback
Written summary or annotated photo plan

Durable Medical Equipment Coordination
Description:
Provide a streamlined process of equipment selection, acquisition and training
Includes:
Assessment of client’s clinical and environmental needs for mobility, transfer and ADL-related equipment
Collaboration with physicians, vendors and insurance (as applicable)
Written equipment recommendation and vendor coordination
Education and hands-on training for client, family and/or caregiver on safe use and maintenance
Follow-up to confirm proper setup and function

$250-$400 per case
Additional on-site training or vendor coordination: $125/hour
Additional professional consultation with architect: $125/hour
Client/Family/Caregiver Training/Education
Description:
Personalized, hands-on instruction led by an occupational therapist to ensure safe and confident use of durable medical equipment and adaptive techniques in the home. Training focuses on proper transfers, mobility, and daily activities, while teaching caregivers safe handling, positioning, and fall prevention strategies. This education not only improves client safety and independence, but also helps reduce caregiver injury and prevention of hospital readmissions.
Includes:
Review of client’s specific mobility, ADL or transfer needs
Training on proper use of durable medical equipment (DME) or adaptive devices
Instruction on body mechanics and safe handling for caregivers
Optional short video demonstration
