Before & After

Before

A dining room with a wooden table and chairs, a kitchen counter, and a wall with framed artwork and a welcome sign. There's sewing equipment on a small table against the wall.

Quite a challenge to actually sew.

After

A sewing room corner with two sewing machines, spools of thread, a needle, and sewing accessories on a U-shaped table.

All set up to enjoy the art of sewing both functionally and safely!!!

No Place Like Home: Smart Tips for Aging in Place

I recently had the pleasure of sharing practical, confidence‑boosting aging‑in‑place strategies with the community at the Milltown Public Library. My goal is simple: to help people stay in the homes they love—safely, comfortably, and with greater independence.

From small adjustments to smart design choices, aging in place does not have to be complicated. With the right guidance, every home can support safer living and stronger daily routines.

Backpack Awareness

Thank you to the Greater Brunswick Charter School 6th grade for participating in our Backpack Awareness Weighing Initiative on February 18, 2026, helping promote awareness and safer backpack use. Special thanks to Rosie Burnett, OT, SIPT, CIMC, and Pat Hicks, retired special education teacher, for helping make this screening event a success!
